Frequently Asked Questions

  •  How quickly do you need the flowers?
  •

  • We prefer to take delivery of the flowers the day after your event to ensure optimum freshness, however we can preserve flowers up to 5-6 days old as long as the flowers are still fairly unblemished – ask our designer for details.
  •

  •  How long will the flower picture last?
  •

  • If you take care not to hang your picture in direct sunlight or in damp or humid conditions, your flower picture will last for many years.
  •

  •  Can you preserve any flower?
  •

  • With the exception of some tropical flowers such as "the bird of paradise" we can preserve most flowers. However sunflowers and chrysanthemums tend to shed their petals. Call us for advice.
  •

  •  How long does the process take?
  •

  • On average a picture can be completed in 20-24 weeks. If you choose to include photographs with your flowers, this could prolong the completion time as we cannot complete your picture until we are in receipt of your photographs.
  •

  •  Does it cost a lot to book? We have a lot of expense with our wedding and honeymoon.
  •

  • No! We only take a Booking Fee of £10 to preserve a preservation slot. Booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment as our services are in great demand. We do not ask for any payment when the flowers are delivered and preserved. We only take a deposit after your honeymoon when you choose your frame. Your final balance is only payable when you collect your completed picture.
  •

  •  Will the flowers look exactly the same as they did on the day?
  •

  • Not quite. Flowers change colour during the preservation process – they become a little darker. We do offer a fully inclusive colour enhancement service however to lift the colours closer to how they were on the day. However, your flowers will be in their original shape and form in 3D – not pressed at all.
  •

  •  What if I want to throw my bouquet? What if I want to place them on a grave?
  •

  • Tell your florist that you are wishing to preserve your bouquet and ask them to make you a little inexpensive "throwing bouquet" or "floral grave token" – they will still be part your "wedding day flowers". This will enable us to preserve your bridal bouquet, without breaking with popular traditions.
